Mmmmm Gingersnaps!

I cannot remember the last time that I made gingersnaps. I can still remember as a young girl going out to my friend Carrie's house where her mom made the BEST ones ever!

Today was the day I finally found a minute to crack open my Silhouette. So much fun!!!

Hudson was beyond excited to wake up and see what I had made while he was napping.....which made this mom pretty excited as well!

Oh, how Saturday nights have changed?!?! I decided at 6pm tonight that it would be a good time to start tearing apart Hudson's room and get it painted to better suit his new bedding. We ended up putting the 2 boys in the same room for the night and after many threats for them to be quiet they finally gave in.

 Ryan thought it was humorous to hang a sign on the door ;)

O HAPPY DAY!!!!

I LOVE mail days when I have packages and this day was no exception!!! My SILHOUETTE arrived today. I cannot wait to get it out and play.....now just to find the time to myself......

Puzzle-d

One really nice part of the weather being so undesirable is that it makes you slow down and take the time to enjoy things like puzzles...... had we been at home I would have found a million other things that would have needed finished first.

Here is yet another May Long Weekend with nothing but crappy weather. The rain did not let up all weekend!

What is left of our beautiful sand beach at the boathouse. What was once 70 feet of gorgeous sand is now down to about 15 feet. It's fantastic to see the lake coming up after going down for so many years. On the plus side all of the sand we had hauled in for the beach is now in the water making it an een better playground for the kiddos.

Another rainy day but it didn't stop these 2 from getting out and getting dirty. Graidan is sure our little adventure seeker. Never one to turn down an offer to get outside!

The BIG Renovation Reveal!!!

So super excited for what today brought.
1. My mom got to come home from her 4 weeks of treatment  and sleep in her own bed for the first time in over a month.
2. We finally got to show her what we have been up to while she was gone and how much work we have done as a testeament to how much we love and appreciate her. You deserve the very best mom and we love you so much!!!

So if you don't remember you can see the small post I made back here. The basement has basically not been touched in over 30 years so it was in dire need.
