Sundae FUNDAY

We were looking after 2 of the Gervais girls tongith and had them for supper so I thought it was my duty to fill them up on sugar before sending them home again ;)

Hudson did not eat his supper tonight so he was not allowed to have dessert..... :(

Hockey Hero

After much convincing we finally got Hudson to put on his hockey equipment - and he LOVED it!!! I had been to a party decor store the day before and picked up this had for next to nothing so he thought he should add it to his get-up.

I am so excited to see these 2 littl eones out on the ice come hockey season!

VEGAS Vacation!

It was decided in our house that we would not likely be taking a 'couples' winter vacation this year. We have already booked 16 days in DisneyWorld with my whole family for the middle of May and had wanted to go to Vegas this fall so we decided our mom and dad trip away from the children would be spent there this year. It all worked out perfectly! We decided on a date that would work for us and in talking to a few friends then found out that my best friend from elementary school was going to be there with one of her girlfriends, friends of ours from Ryan's hometown were going to be there with another couple and then my sister and a group of girls decided they were gong the same time as well. I was so happy to be able to spend time with everyone and still get to see and do most of what we were wanting to get to do.

 First night out for all of us.

Goof

This kids is a goof. What more can I say about someone who uses hooks from his tool bench as earrings?!?!?

First day of the BIG K!!!

I seriously cannot believe this day has come so quickly. I know it likely sounds clique but "where has the time gone?". I cannot possibly have a little boy going to KINDERGARTEN today..... but, alas, I do.

As we were just about to the front doors of the school he was getting pretty excited. Earlier in the morning he had told me "I am just a little bit frightened." It was so cute. I am just not sure how he realized that this was a whole new situation with a whole new group of friends, but he sensed it.

Purely by coincidence, we walked up to the school doors at the same time as our good friends Zadie and her mom Nicole. Perfect opportunity for our (so far) annual photo of these two cuties together on their first day. One dad walked by as we were snapping pics and commented that we looked like the papparazzi. We are both first time Kindergarten moms, what can I say?!?!

Maybe not technically Graidan's first day but what big brother does, little brother soon follows. I will have to get a picture of him holding this sign on his true first day next week.
