Yum yum yum! This was what I made for lunch after lessons today. I am normally the one that makes hockey pucks that are supposed to pass as buns but these have yet to fail me so the recipe sticks around. This dough is a french bread dough that you can mamke into pizza dough, cinnamon buns, pizza buns or even french bread! Go figure! So delicious!

Beautiful Rainy Night
On the walk home after our evening swim tonight we got a little downpour. It only lasted a few minutes and then the sun popped out again along with this beautiful rainbow just to the south of our house. I will take rain anytime if it is short and sweet like this!

New Neighbors
Today was the day that they finally broke ground on our friends house right across the road from us. It will be so fun to add some more kiddos to our little cul-de-sac!
Welcome to the neighborhood friend :)

Kabob
Our kids are terrible at eating meat. Recently we had little kabobs with chicken and pineapple on them and they started calling them "Chicken Joe on a stick". (Chicken Joe from the movie Surf's Up) Now we are constantly trying to disguise their meat for them so that they can get their protein in.
Not sure who this concoction looks good to but they ate it all up. Cucumber, chicken, grapes, cheese and pickles.
MmmmmMMmm!

Happy Canada Day!!!
We had such a fun Canada Day weekend!!!
We had friends and family with us out at the lake the whole time. The Gervais and Benjamins joined us for the Friday festivities as we boated, beached it, tubed, campfired and took in the fireworks. It was such a great day and the kids (and parents) were exhausted!
