It is time for 2 of us in the house to renew our passports so I best get going as Disney World is quickly approaching....

Angry BIRDS

Our friends stopped by tonight for a long overdue supper and with her she brought the boys a gift.  They both play the Angry Bird game on their iPads but in their words it is called "ANGRY CHICKENS" Hahaha

Spring Scrap Retreat

This weekend I had a little getaway to our spring scrap retreat out at Kenosee. I have come to look forward to this as it is becoming apparent that this is the only time I am able to get any crafting done. I mean real uninterrupted, relaxing crafting. I LOVE it!!

MAC & Cory's 40th Birthday Party

Ryan and I had a quick weekend getaway to Edmonton this weekend without the boys. My brother-in-law's 40th Birthday is quickly coming up and my sister was wanting to celebrate. We flew out on Thursday and came back on Monday morning. One of the things I wanted to do while we were there is to visit the MAC cosmetics store and have a make-over. I had been wanting to try the makeup there for a while but hadn't had the opportunity to do so just yet. Being that we were going out tonight, we decided Saturday was the time to do it.

After our appointments we had to rush back to the gym to see the last volleyball game of the day before heading out for the evening. We were exhausted from all the running but so was Mahkai at this point. He fell asleep sitting up in my arms. Love this little man!

Later that evening we made it out to The Red Piano after a nice dinner out. The birthday "boy" himself and my lovely sis.

Ready for Easter

It is beginning to feel a little more like spring with the nice weather we have been having, and therefore it is time to get out the Easter decor....

Mom's on Skates

As an end of the year kick off, the coaches decided that they boys should play the moms in a game. I was a tad reluctant, as I hadn't been on skates in about 10 years and that was on figure skates opposed to hockey skates, but when the one coach assured me that he still remembers when he played his mom in hockey almost 30 years agoI then realized that this was for the boys and whether I made a fool out of myself or not was not the concern. In the end it was alot of fun and now I am out there skating with the boys rather than sitting in the stands cheering them on!

Jr Cougar Home Tournament

This weekend we hosted the initiation team's first ever home tournament. Everyone on the organizing committee deserves a big pat on the back as it turned out awesome! The trophies that each player received were especially adorable!
