Creative Tables for Cancer

It is quickly becoming a yearly even for us and turned out to be another great event this year again. Darlene Olsen of Mary Kay puts on quite the spectacular event as did our fabulous hostesses for the year at our witch themed table.

Paint Wars

This year our family photos were a little different than we are used to. I had found a picture on a blog a couple of years ago and was wanting to try something similar to it ever since....and who other than Starr Mercer of Starlite Studio Photography to help see the vision?? We had a lot of fun, after the boys could get over the fact that mom was letting them do this!!!

 I will post pics once they are back from her, but for now here is a little sneak peek of the boys once we were done......

Bedtime Stories

Now that Hudson is reading, he does the majority of the story telling at night, but tonight I got the chance to read to the boys tonight.

Under the Weather

We have a sick little man in the house today. When this one is not feeling well you can normally see a difference in how he is acting but if he is lying around then you know it is not good. Nothing like a bowl of dry Fruit Loops and cartoons to make you feel better :)

"Blown Away" blew me away!

Ryan and I took a quick overnight away from the kids to head to Saskatoon with our friends to see Carrie Underwood. Rosalie got us some fab seats and the concert was fantastic. She has sure got some pipes!

Sin City

VEGAS baby!!! For the past couple of years we have taken the time to plan an annual girls trip away from teh hustle and bustle of our lives, away from the kids and their activities, away from the hubby and all that comes along with him and away from the housework, planning, scheduling, cooking, cleaning and laundry. Just a good old, carefree weekend away! In the past it has been a weekend trip over the Amaerican Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping weekend. Not always the same group but always a variation of the core. This year we stepped it up a notch and took off to Las Vegas for 5 fun filled, sleep deprived says.

Oh, GARTH! You had me at hello!!! I cannot tell you how many people told me how much we were going to love this show and I cannot tell you how, not for one minute, were my expecations crushed. He is so down-to-earth, funny and just simply amazing. I am getting goosebumps again just typing this. This in itself was worth the whole trip!!!

Breaking Ground!!

The hole in the ground that we have been working so hard to raise money for is finally becoming a reality. So thankful for all the supportive and generous companies in our community and surrounding communities.
