Last night while putting Hudson to bed I told him "This is the very last time I will tuck my 4 year old into bed cause tomorrow you will wake up and be 5!" He said to me, "So do you want me to stay 4 forever?" Well, yes, I do but I would not be capable of making such a thing happen. Next I asked him what one thing he would really like for his 5th birthday. His reply after a short pause "I think I already have everything I need." SERIOUSLY???? I mean, he is not entirely wrong. He does have A LOT of toys, cars, dinosaurs, books but to hear that as a reply my heart melted. What a kid!
When he woke up this morning the first thing he did was run to the growth chart and needed measured because he was absolutely certain that now that he was 5 that he had grown....

He even got to open a couple of presents before school

At noon hour today I was able to drop off some of the bat cupcakes I had decorated in the Kindergarten room. I am no Cake Boss by any means but for my first attempt at ever decorating any type of cake/cupcake they weren't terrible....
