Campout in front of the Christmas tree
This was quite possibly the activity that I was most looking forward to out of our whole countdown. I made sure it fell on a day that we didn't have hockey the next day or anywhere to be because I was not anticipating alot of actual sleeping when the 2 boys are in the same room.....it's a given!
We got everything set up for bedtime
Read a book and went to sleep.......well......it actually took about an hour to get settled down enough to fall asleep. Mom on the couch and both boys on the mattress, Graidan on the couch and mom sleeping with Hudson on the mattress, etc, etc.....
Eventually we did actually sleep. Ryan chose to sleep upstairs in our room since he had to work early the next morning. Hudson's 4 hour nap the next day may have attested to the fact that he could have used some more shut-eye.
Will definately do this another year! I quite enjoyed it!
