Today was the day the boys received their annual email from santa via PNP (Portable North Pole TV). This is such a neat thing that the kids absolutely LOVE......if it is done correctly! Let me explain. Apparently I did the messages in too much haste and accidently sent Hudson in a naughty. Now if anyone was going to be naughty in our house it would be Graidan before Hudson, but that is not the way it worked out.
I was videoing the kids while they were watching the video on the computer. Even though I was not in direct view of the computer screen I could still hear it and as soon as that little machine made the unmistakable sound of a naughty child I was sick to my stomache. At the end, Santa reassured Hudson that if he worked extra hard for the remainder of December he would surely be able to get himself back on the nice list.
We continued to watch Graidan get on the nice list and then told them we had some "technical difficulties" and mom needed to fix her computer before they would watch them again. The boys, very obediently, went to Hudson's room to play and this is what I overheard:
HUDSON: "Graidan good job on getting on the nice list"
GRAIDAN: "Ya, and you are not on the nice list"
HUDSON: "No, but if I try real hard not to interrupt people then maybe I could get a green light and back on the nice side."
At this point I had tears streaming down my face and am still shocked that he did not have the same reaction! I seriously wanted to crawl in a hole! I got the computer "fixed" and they returned to watch their videos again and this is what happened:

I apologize for my terrible videoing. I was doing it with my camera and have yet to figure out the zoom/focus simultaneously, hence the noise of the zoom in the middle of the video :(
